Xiaomi 15 Ultra Will Come with 90W Charging and Satellite Connectivity

Xiaomi recently introduced the Xiaomi 15 series, which consists of the Xiaomi 15 and the Xiaomi 15 Pro variants. However, the company is still expected to introduce one more variant in the coming months, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The device is already making rounds on certifications, which hints at an imminent launch. Considering the past releases, we may see the Xiaomi 15 Ultra appearing in China while the 15 and 15 Pro reach the global markets. The upcoming flagship was certified in China with model number 25019PNF3C.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra is Coming Soon with 90W Charging

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra appeared in multiple listings. These certifications confirm the phone will arrive with satellite connectivity. Moreover, it will include 90W wired charging, matching its two predecessors. This isn’t the fastest charging that Xiaomi can offer, but we assume that the company is playing safe with numbers on premium flagships. This is the same rate offered by its predecessors.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra

As usual, the satellite connectivity feature on the Xiaomi 15 Ultra should be exclusive to China. After all, the device is certified for the Tiantong satellite used by China Telecom. Its availability is relatively small when it comes to other parts of the globe. Its coverage is limited to China and the surrounding regions that reach the Indian and Pacific Oceans. It would not be usable in other parts of the globe like Europe.

For now, there is still no word on the release of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra flagship. However, considering the series’ recent past, it is surely coming in the first quarter of 2025. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra appeared in February during MWC in Barcelona. We expect Xiaomi to do the same during next year’s conference, which will happen between March 3 and 6, 2025.

We expect to hear more details soon. The Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro are likely to reach global markets in Q1 2025. We expect the Xiaomi 15 Ultra to stick with the usual schedule. It will launch first in China and can reach other markets a few months later.
